A high-performance, non-combustible A1 stone wool insulation board designed for steel-frame (SFS) timber-frame wall constructions and masonry infill wall assemblies
Frameclad® is a non-combustible stone wool insulation board designed for use within framed wall constructions, including steel framing systems (SFS), timber frame structures, and masonry infill wall assemblies. Manufactured from volcanic basalt rock, Frameclad provides reliable thermal insulation, fire resistance and acoustic absorption within external and internal structural framing systems.
The product features an optimised non-directional fibre structure that enables easy friction-fit installation between studs and framing members, accommodating minor construction tolerances to minimise gaps and significantly reduce thermal bridging. With a nominal density of 50 kg/m³ and a declared thermal conductivity of λ = 0.035 W/mK, Frameclad delivers high-performance thermal insulation and superior sound absorption suitable for modern building envelopes.
Frameclad insulation carries a premium Euroclass A1 fire rating, rendering it entirely non-combustible and suitable for buildings of any height when used within compliant structural framing assemblies in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
