Dimclad+ is an advanced, engineered version of Dimclad, developed for ventilated open joint and shadow gap rainscreen facade systems that require project-specific performance and design flexibility. It is specifically designed for applications where the insulation layer is visible, combining high performance with enhanced aesthetic consistency.

Manufactured from natural volcanic basalt rock, Dimclad+ incorporates a durable black mineral fibre tissue facing that provides a uniform dark appearance behind open facades. This facing enhances visual quality while offering long-term resistance to UV exposure, wind-driven rain, and environmental conditions.

Dimclad+ is fully customisable in density and thickness, enabling facade engineers and designers to optimise thermal efficiency, mechanical strength, and fixing requirements to suit complex facade systems and bespoke architectural designs.

With declared thermal conductivity values from λ = 0.039 W/mK (with project-specific variations available), Dimclad+ delivers reliable thermal insulation alongside excellent acoustic absorption (-60dB) and fire resistance.

Dimclad+ is classified as Euroclass A1 (non-combustible) and is suitable for buildings of all heights, including high-rise developments, in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
