Wallclad is a high-density, non-combustible stone wool insulation board designed for use in external wall insulation (EWI) systems and facade applications where insulation is installed directly behind render, bonded cladding, or adhesive-fixed finishes.

Manufactured from natural volcanic basalt and compliant with EN 13162, Wallclad delivers excellent thermal insulation, acoustic performance, and fire resistance within external wall constructions. Its dense and dimensionally stable structure provides a robust substrate for a wide range of facade finishes, including render systems, brick slip systems, ceramic tiles, and other bonded or mechanically supported cladding solutions.

Wallclad is available in two density options, 120 kg/m³ and 140 kg/m³, allowing designers and facade engineers to select the most appropriate specification based on structural requirements, impact resistance, and acoustic performance (-55-63 dB). Both densities are covered on this page.

With a declared thermal conductivity of λ = 0.0364 W/mK, Wallclad provides efficient thermal performance for both ventilated and unventilated facade systems.

Wallclad is classified as Euroclass A1 (non-combustible) and is suitable for buildings of any height, including high-rise developments, in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
